Quadrant Estates is a privately owned property company formed in 1997. Its primary focus is to generate value added returns through good stock selection, aggressive asset management or development and ultimately timely sale. Quadrant operates a successful co-investment model and has numerous blue chip co-investment partners who have invested alongside Quadrant over the last decade.

The company has no geographical or sector restrictions and has successfully invested capital in the traditional sectors of office, retail and industrial together with some of the more specialised sectors such as trade parks, research & development, leisure and neighbourhood centres.

Quadrant's investment philosophy is opportunistic and active, looking for assets and transactions where business plans can be rigorously implemented to enhance value and earnings over and above market levels.

Since the formation of Quadrant, a track-record of profitable investment can be demonstrated. From mid-2006 Quadrant became extremely cautious with the state of the market and wherever possible its exposure to changes in market conditions were minimised by measures such as forward selling and pre-letting its developments. Additionally, it was very cautious about acquisition pricing and demonstrated this with an unwillingness to chase acquisitions in an over-competitive market. Consequently, Quadrant has largely escaped the worst effects of the current market downturn.
