Pub, shops and bookies set for Eureka Place
March 2, 2009

Pub giant Marstons is to open a 6,000sq-ft outlet at the new Eureka Place development, as a host of new tenants for the site were revealed.

The centre, currently under construction as part of the massive Eureka Park development, will also boast a new health clinic, a number of shops and a child care nursery.

It is part of the on-going construction of the area which already boasts the Eureka Leisure Park and numerous industry and business developments, just off junction nine of the M20.

Quadrant Estates, the developer of the site says the neighbourhood centre has been designed to reflect its strategic location within the business park. It is designed to serve both the commercial properties and nearby homes.

In addition to the pub, there will also a child day nursery operated by Q Day Nurseries and a Circle Health clinic as well as a One Stop convenience store and Coral bookmakers.

Aside from the convenience store there will be a further eight retail units.

The new centre will total over 33,000sq-ft of retail space.

Work on the site is expected to be completed by the autumn. Cycle paths and access routes for cars and pedestrians will be part of the project.
