James has specialised in the retail and leisure sector for 21 years and joined Quadrant in 2021.

His experience stretches across Out-of-Town Retail, major Shopping Centres, High Street retail and Leisure Schemes. James has an extensive background in devising asset management strategies and successfully leading their implementation on large institutional schemes. He also has large scale retail and leisure development experience.

James was most recently a Senior Asset Manager at British Land for the past 7 years, working on a portfolio at its peak of around £1bn of AUM. Before that James spent 5 years at AXA Real Estate, Henderson Global Investors (now Nuveen) and in retail agency and investment.

James is Co-Chairman of Accessible Retail and a member of the RICS.
